The Center for Instruction and Modern Education (C.I.E.M.) is a private entity established in the Municipality of Carolina since 1978, with the purpose of educating citizens from an early age.

Its educational philosophy focuses on the human being; on their value as a sociological entity and their moral, cultural, and physical development. The aim is to foster students with the highest spirit of human coexistence; where respect for others' rights and civic responsibility are intertwined with love for work as a dignifying element and appreciation for aesthetics in all forms of human expression.
